Een of beide boten hebben een regel overtreden. De boten, die een regel hebben gebroken, kunnen een straf nemen, zoals genoemd in de aangepaste RvW 44.3(c), en het protest mag worden ingetrokken. Indien dit niet gebeurt, dan zal het protest door het protestcomité behandeld worden. Voor een boot die de arbitrage score straf heeft aanvaard, is regel 64.1(b) van toepassing.

One or both boats have a rule violation. The boats, which have broken a rule, can take a penalty, as listed in the custom RvW 44.3 (c), and the protest should be repealed. If it doesn't, then it will protest by the protest Committee. For a boat that has accepted the arbitration score penalty, rule 64.1 (b) shall apply.
