De volgende scenes in de dinner zouden zich net zo goed vandaag kunnen afspelen, inclusief de onbeschofte klant. Dinges heeft problemen met haar moeder, die opeens in het verhaal verschijnt, als een geest. Ze heeft blijkbaar een moeilijke tijd gehad met het opvoeden van Dinges, maar ze wil het weer goedmaken. Deze confrontatie kwam wat vreemd op me over. Wat is de link met de toekomst? Blijkt het dat er niets in de menselijke relatie veranderd is? Madeline als therapeut is ook wat onwaarschijnlijk en geforceerd. Dinges zou naar een psychiater moeten en die blijkt dan ook een robot te zijn.
