Ik denk dat de pijn van iets dat niét gebeurd is, de spijt van kansen die zijn blijven liggen, gemiste momenten en te voorzichtige keuzes blijft langer blijft hangen dan een foute keuze, beslissing of uitspraak.

Het is dus beter om te zeggen ‘Had ik maar nooit….’ dan: ‘O, had ik maar…’
