op deze foto staat de tempel van de olympische god Zeus uit Athene. ik heb deze foto gemaakt toen ik in de herfstvakantie met mijn moeder in Athene was. het was de grootste tempel van Griekenland. de tempel heeft mooie korinthische zuilen. ik vind Athene een prachtige stad met veel historische cultuur. in Athene ben ik ook naar andere plaatsen geweest zoals de akropolis. ik heb veel geleerd over de cultuur van de oude Grieken. het duurde ongeveer zeven eeuwen om de gigantische tempel te bouwen. er staan nog maar vijftien van de honderdvier zuilen overeind. de zuilen zijn zeventien en een halve meter groot, met een diameter van twee meter.
